Scholarship options for students with temporary status

These scholarships are options for students with Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Humanitarian Parole. Click on each scholarship and carefully read the guidelines to see if you qualify:

The Dream US Scholarship Special February 2015 Round
Due: March 1, 2018

NYU New York Undocumented Student Financial Aid Application
Must be: an undocumented freshman applicant who resides in NY State
Due: Early Decision, January 15 & Regular Decision, February 15

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
Must be:a) Curent high school seniors  Due: November  OR
b) community college transfer students  Due: Early December4

Que Llueva Cafe Scholarship  – Chicano Organizing & Research in Education
Must be: High school senior  Due February 22

MARCH 2018
Power Through Knowledge Scholarship
Must be: Graduating high school senior  Due: March

QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship
Must be: High school junior  Due: March

APRIL 2018
Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund
Must be: Student living in the U. S. and planning to enroll in an accredited school. Grantees must receive college credits for the time period covered by their grant. April 1 of each year (Check website from time to time for new application)

LatPro Scholarship
Must be: Undergraduate & Graduate students  Due: April 30

MAY 2018
Health Careers Scholarship Program
Must be: Entering their Junior or Senior year of their undergraduate study in the Fall of 2014  Due :May (Check back for 2015 due date)

Humane Education Network: Voice for Animals H. S. Essay Contest
Must be: Currently attending high school or be home schooled;
Ages 14 to 19  Due: March (Check in December for due date)
